Job Title: Senior Commercial Buyer Raw Materials - Contract

Location: Wynyard, UK

Job Purpose:

Lead sourcing for Raw Materials, managing purchasing spend (40-80 m Euro), and negotiating contracts. Ensure cost reduction, supply security, and compliance with defined standards.

Responsibilities

- Develop purchasing strategy for allocated categories.

- Tender, negotiate, and implement price agreements and contracts.

- Comply with policies and procedures, EHS standards, and regulations.

- Drive increased payment terms across the purchasing function.

- Lead the setup of systems for better supply base management.

Requirements:

- Experience in Purchasing or a related field.

- Fluent in English; knowledge of German, Spanish, or Italian is a plus.

- Strong communication, team player, and result-driven.

- Proficient in Excel and data management.
