SalaryIPS are working closely alongside a leading specialty insurer in their search for an Analyst to join the team at a Senior level, largely focusing on Marine.
You will have the opportunity to work closely alongside Underwriting teams on a Portfolio level and play an active role in reporting and presenting modelling results to help guide the business’ decision-making process and overall view of risk. You will have the chance to help oversee the training and development of a junior analyst, making this a great opportunity to develop managerial skills and qualities. To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:
- Proven catastrophe modelling experience using a recognised vendor model (Verisk/AIR preferred but others considered)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and other visualisation tools such as Power BI being advantageous.
- Clear and confident communicator who can work independently and as part of a wider team.
