About The Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Commercial Performance Analyst to join Nemo Link's Commercial Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing and optimizing commercial operations, contributing to the continued financial success and operational excellence of Nemo Link.
Hybrid working location between home and primary office in Warwick. Occasional international and UK travel may be required for meetings with external stakeholders and the Nemo Link team in Brussels. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you.
Main Responsibilities
Performance Analysis:
• Monitor the correct execution of the day-to-day commercial processes and proactively identify and react on potential problems.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of Nemo Link’s Commercial Performance metrics (e.g. value capture, revenue per product…).
• Validate and correct Nemo Link’s sales invoices.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights that could lead to enhanced Commercial Performance.
Market Intelligence:
• Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to assess their impact on Nemo Link's commercial operations.
• Provide regular updates on market trends and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
Financial Modelling:
• Develop and maintain financial models to support revenue forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
• Provide financial insights to support commercial negotiations and decision-making related to auction strategy, new products, ancillary service tenders…).
Reporting:
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on Commercial Performance and relevant market information to internal stakeholders (e.g. Management Committee, Board of Directors…).
• Deliver the recurring external reports (e.g. imbalance reporting)
• Provide finance with the monthly revenue forecasts.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting on the results of important auctions.
• Act as Product Owner of Nemo Link’s Commercial Data Warehouse and Nemo Link’s Revenue Forecasting tool.
Support or lead on ad-hoc projects:
• Assist with the development and implementation of new products/services.
• Assist with the annual auction calendar creation.
• Assist with replies to market consultations.
• Assist with market coupling related projects (e.g. Multi-Regional loose volume coupling, price coupling…)
• Assist with Net Zero related projects (e.g. GO procurement, annual CO2 reporting..)
• Other projects when required.
About You
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Familiarity with energy market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
Detail-oriented with a strong ability to synthesize complex information.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Familiarity with agile development (Data Warehouse)
What You'll Get
A competitive salary between £50,330 - £59,273 dependent on capability.
