The Organisation
The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) is an independent charity dedicated to breaking the link between family income and educational achievement.
We do this by supporting schools, colleges and nurseries to improve teaching and learning through better use of evidence. We generate research evidence on effective practice in supporting learning outcomes and narrowing the socioeconomic attainment gap, and we work with education professionals to ensure this evidence is applied to achieve the maximum possible benefit for children and young people.
The EEF’s reach and impact has been tremendous: the English education system is now one of the most evidence-informed in the world. Over half of state primary and secondary schools have taken part in an EEF-funded trial, and 70% of all school leaders use the Teaching and Learning Toolkit to inform their decision-making.
We are currently seeking a Senior Content & Engagement Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
We expect to appoint this role as London based with hybrid working. However, for an exceptional candidate, home-based working with regular travel to the London office may be considered.

- Salary of circa £46,000 per annum (up to £49,000 for candidates based in London)

The Role
As a Senior Content & Engagement Manager, you will support the development of our Early Years content.
Shaping our Early Years Evidence Store, you will ensure it evolves and develops as a relevant and actionable resource for educators. This will include contributing to the overall design and structure and developing the portfolio of content and resources.
You will also contribute to the production of targeted communications, such as blogs and podcasts, to promote our organisation, evidence and role in the system.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop an overall comms and communication plan
- Co-ordinate content generation that is aligned with policy priorities
- Line manage the Content and Engagement Specialist: Early Years
- Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the education industry
- Represent us at relevant external forums and events
About You
To be considered as a Senior Content & Engagement Manager, you will need:
- Early years practice experience
- Knowledge of research findings and appropriate methodology in the Early Years
- An understanding of the educational landscape
- The ability to develop resources that support educators to enact and implement effective practices in Early Years settings
Please note, this role will involve regular travel widely across England as well as occasional overnight stays.
