SalaryAs the Senior Contracts Manager you will establish a highly motivated and skilled contract management team. This team will deliver contract performance outcomes that align with both business and HMG commercial requirements. This is a high visibility role and you will be instrumental in proposing solutions and skilled at stakeholder management.
Key Accountabilities:
- Act as subject matter expert for assigned contracts, providing professional advice to enable business to effectively deliver contract objectives.
- Ensure all contracts, they are responsible for, have a robust Contract Management Plan with defined procedure for delivery performance management, invoice applications, risk management and contract reviews.
- Implement the Supplier Relationship Management framework for assigned key suppliers who have a significant impact on the organisation’s business, with the objective of managing risk, managing performance, and extracting more value from the supplier base.
- Support procurement activity through providing best practice contract advice to develop contract templates and bespoke terms.
Key requirements:
- Experience as a Contracts Manager for complex programmes in either the private or public sector
- NEC and construction experience (desirable)
- Experience in a high visibility role and proposing solutions
- Skilled at challenging stakeholder management and negotiating with suppliers
