Job Title: Senior Copywriter, Creative Studios

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Location: London, Hybrid


Role purpose:

As a business we’re rapidly moving from navigating the early post Covid era and into full growth mode. As a consumer brand we are very proud of our new, contemporary and visually striking communications platform that will help bring our products and services to life. We are also working on internal workstreams to build out a genuinely market leading Content Marketing strategy, combining our unique data and insights, global footprint and multiple travel corridor coverage. This new role provides an exciting opportunity to join our growing Global Marketing Excellence Team, partner with both the Director of Marketing and a lead Designer to establish, own and lead the Travelex Creative Studio, supporting all of our in-house Design and Content needs globally.


This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious Copywriter to take the next step in their career, being part of the founding of the Travelex Creative Studio and its early years success will ensure you can tell a great story and show some fantastic work you can be proud of.


Who you are:


  • You will have a true passion for the written word, you bring fresh new and unexpected ideas to the table.
  • You can partner with multiple stakeholders across the business, discuss their written needs and collaborate to achieve great outcomes against agreed timings
  • You can partner successfully with a retained Designer to deliver all of the businesses Creative Studio needs – external marketing communications (offline and online), brand and branding guidance and documentation, external B2B and new business documents,
  • You can develop fast and clear copy platform concepts to help drive conversations forwards, as well as create refined final articles and wording for a wide variety of projects and channels including POS, print, OOH, digital, social, animation.
  • You understand how the written word can be utilised throughout the consumer buying funnel to help inspire, inform and convert consumers to action.
  • You have a great eye for tone, audience adaption, clarity. You take pride in creating work to a very high standard.
  • You have a portfolio of work that demonstrates a proven track record in creating strong and effective work in a wide variety of media – long form articles, short social posts, push notifications, emails, internal blogs etc.
  • Partnering with the Designer you can generate new ideas and concepts against clear briefs.


Requirements:


  • Excellent book of prior recent work, showing effective use of format, tone, opinion, brand consistency and creative approach
  • Ability to demonstrate real channel spread in your work – offline, online, external, internal, mar-comms, business document design etc
  • 7 years plus of Copywriting experience within a comparable client-side environment desired, a blend of creative agency and client side experience very much welcomed too
  • Must have proven ability to collaborate directly with multiple stakeholders for delivery of their work – self organised, clear communicator
  • The ability to discuss how the written word influences outcomes, and actively participate in internal conversations about shaping our creative work
