About the Earned Media Team
As a team within the business’ broader Marketing Division (alongside Strategy & Account Services, Advertising, Social Media & Content and Creative Design,) P54 Earned Media is responsible for the delivery of all PR & Comms, Media & Influencer Relations, and Copywriting to a global client roster encompassing many of the world’s most prestigious golf brands, destinations and events.
Role Overview
P54 is expanding its ever-growing team and currently recruiting for a Senior Copywriter to join the business in the global headquarters in London, UK.
Reporting to the Earned Media Account Director, the successful candidate will have broad copywriting experience and have a knowledge and understanding the broad lexicon of golf and have a proven track record for producing highly creative and eye-catching prose.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have excellent communication skills. They will have the ability to work with other members of the team and have a sense of collaboration, and be competent working to often tight deadlines while also managing and ongoing workload.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Writing for a variety of platforms and audiences with a working knowledge of golf’s varied vocabulary
- Aligning with a refresh to the P54 brand, developing a tone of voice and administering this across all areas of the business
- Day-to-day copywriting support for the Earned Media Team, including but not limited to: press releases, newsletters and other mass email distributions, client publications, RFPs, and P54’s owned channels
- Proofreading/editing of all copywritten content produced within the Earned Media Team, and broader Marketing Division as necessary
- Providing consistency of messaging across P54 channels
- Oversight of client publishing including magazines, books and solus emails
- Working with the Earned Media Account Director to commercially develop an editorial team within Earned Media.
