This is a primarily remote role with onsite work required on an ‘as-needed’ basis. You may need to visit the office in Bristol once or twice per month.
My client is a large defence and engineering consultancy who delivery through-life support and engineering services the MoD and other government clients.
They are looking for a Cost Lead to develop and maintain the project estimating and cost management capability. You will need to have previous experience in leadership, and strong project estimating and cost management experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the estimating and cost capability
- Ensure best practice and governance is applied
- Integrate new cost management tools
- Train junior colleagues in cost practices
Skills & experience
- Previous experience in leadership/mentoring
- Strong project estimating and cost experience
- Experience working on customer facing projects
- Experience with tools such as MSP, P6, Active Risk Manager, RiskHive, Deltek Cobra, Safran or Primavera Risk Analyser etc.
