Our client, a leading player in the European entertainment industry, is looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join the team on a temporary basis (initially 4 months).
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated company that produces and distributes international sales of feature films and series. With a strong presence in major European markets, as well as Australia and New Zealand, they finance and produce a significant number of films annually and boast an extensive library comprising thousands of titles from various countries and spanning a century of cinematic history.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing robust processes to facilitate timely theatrical cash collection.
- Managing key customer relationships and overseeing credit control procedures.
- Conducting regular meetings with finance leadership to address overdue invoices and track progress on cash collection.
- Assisting with cash allocation in the accounting system and supporting theatrical billings.
- Maintaining the theatrical database, including reconciling box office returns.
- Creating customer master records.
- Providing support to the finance team as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in credit control and accounts receivable.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proactive attitude with a positive approach.
- Organizational and team management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP and/or MACCs preferable.
