Senior Credit Controller

One of Manchester's most successful Human Resources and Personnel are looking to add a Senior Credit Controller to their team. You will be based in their state of the art, Salford based offices and have the opportunity to work from home following a successful induction period.

Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for controlling the businesses key accounts with an emphasis on sustained relationship building with stakeholders. Senior Credit Controller - Role Responsibilities

• To achieve monthly cash collection targets by focusing on both proactive and overdue credit control across a portfolio of complex client accounts
• Prioritise collection of debt by value and client payment profile, ensuring that contact has been made within the insurance policy requirements
• Monitoring daily cash received to ensure that accurate information is always available for reporting purposes
• Liaise with internal colleagues across the business to resolve invoicing queries
• Ensure a high level professional service is provided to clients in all interactions
• Perform complex sales account reconciliations
• Provide support to the Credit Manager to ensure that the Group is put at minimum risk of credit losses and that any potential issues are escalated to the Head of Credit Control
• Deputise for the Credit Manager when absent as required

To be considered for this role

• 3-5 years experience in a similar position within a large B2B organisation
• Good all round Microsoft Office experience including intermediate level Excel skills
• High degree of organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and produce high quality results within tight deadlines
• Excellent communicator with effective negotiation skills who can liaise at all levels
• Ability to form relationships with clients, leaving a positive impression of the business, whilst also ensuring cash collection
