About the role
We are looking to recruit a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Team working on Customer Lifetime Value Optimisation. You will work in a team alongside other analysts, Data Scientists and a Data Engineers to develop insights for stakeholders, primarily Product Managers in the UW Product teams. This role requires hands-on activities and is fully embedded in the delivery of technical solutions.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with business and product teams to develop and deliver data analytics projects, actionable insight and recommendations
- Translate complex information into requirements and business processes and work with stakeholders to prioritise projects and ask the right questions
- Communicate with the product and business teams to understand business processes, and provide data-driven insights.
- Create visualisations (we use Looker) and manage strategic dashboards/KPI reporting
- Work with Data Engineers to develop/adjust data models as required
- Teach, mentor and support more junior Data Analysts
- Drive the adoption of optimisation and experimentation in your core analytics area
About you
- Previous experience in business insights and data analytics (exploratory and descriptive analysis)
- Experience in data storytelling
- Hands-on experience with SQL and data visualisation tools (we use Looker). Experience with Python is desired.
- Experience with BQ / GCP / Looker / Terraform will be beneficial
- Analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage the time to produce high-quality work with deadlines
- Familiarity with SaaS would be ideal (Mixpanel/Google Analytics, CDP, MVT platforms etc.)
- Ability to work within a diverse team spanning business leaders, product managers, software engineers and data scientists.
- Experience in customer support analytics or CX analytics is advantageous
