Role: Senior Data Engineer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: hybrid (2 days in Warwick a month, 1 or 2 days in London a month)

Job role:
We're looking for a Data Engineer to work as part of a product team and contribute to the development of our data and reporting platforms.
You'll be responsible for:
Working with stakeholders to refine requirements for new data sources, exploring possibilities and making recommendations on approach
Development of new ETL/ELT pipelines for inclusion of new data sources into the platform, including working through the deployment process and ensuring appropriate testing and review
Ensuring compliance with security and other standards
Maintaining platform documentation
Following and contributing towards design documents and system architecture
Experience Required
You'll be a driven and motivated data professional that has experience in managing relationships with stakeholders and project partners. You'll be highly analytical, with a demonstrated ability critically review work and to not accept either requirements or outcomes on face value.
You'll need to have experience with ETL solutions such as Matillion and with data cloud technologies such as Snowflake. Knowledge and experience with the following is also desirable:
SQL
Python
Azure Cloud Services incl. Azure Data Factory
PowerBI
BitBucket
You'll have some experience in designing, developing and maintaining tools for forecasting and business reporting, and most of all an enthusiasm to work in a team to drive positive outcomes.
