We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Senior Delegated Underwriting Analyst, based at their office in the heart of London. The successful candidate will handle a range of different duties, including ownership of the Delegated Underwriting onboarding process, assisting with Delegated Underwriting compliance, and ensuring that the information is correctly and accurately recorded in the Binder Management tool, monitoring any exceptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Development, implementation and documentation of processes and controls for efficient handling of the Proportional accounts, ensuring processes are appropriately documented.
• Assisting with establishing and maintaining a robust customer standards framework.
• Supporting the work of the Delegated Underwriting Manager (DUM) in controlling and monitoring the syndicate’s Delegated Underwriting business.
• Assisting with the completion of new Coverholder/DCA applications, and ensuring complete application information was collated for both Lloyd’s and Customer Relations Committee (CRC) approval.
• Managing all Delegated Authority on-boarding, including the coordination of pre-inception due diligence.
• Reviewing any Coverholder/DCA writing High Product business, and ensuring that the Coverholder/DCA understands Conduct Risk and the Insurance Distribution Directive.
• Carrying out ongoing monitoring of Coverholders/DCAs, ensuring their compliance with reporting requirements, following up on any areas of non-compliance with Underwriters and Coverholders/DCAs.
• Producing and presenting Management Information to various committees and senior execs.
• Oversight of upload, maintenance and monitoring of all Risk, Premium, and Claims bordereaux in the binder management tool.
• Oversight of the chasing and monitoring of any overdue bordereaux with Coverholders/DCAs and Brokers.
• Assisting with the analysis of risk, premium and claims data, assessing the current credit control position, and raising any outcomes with Underwriters, Brokers, Coverholders and DCAs.
• Oversight of the audit process.

Key Requirements

• At least 6 years experience within a Delegated Underwriting Analyst role, or similar, within the Lloyd's / London Market.
• Good knowledge of Lloyd’s and Delegated Authority processes, as well as knowledge of the Insurance Distribution Directive.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse and process complex accounts and transactions.
