Senior Delivery Manager (Inside IR35)
Contract Term: 6 Months (Extension likely)

Location: Remote (Occasional travel to London office once or twice per month)

As a Delivery Manager your main responsibilities would be to:
• Work on a service which has launched its private beta to users - The service team are currently beginning the build of the next release which has been designed and tested with users.
• You will be expected to meet the DDaT Capability Framework Delivery Management skills (ddat-capability-framework.service.gov.uk).
• Understand and have experience with the Service Standard and acting as the Delivery Manager for transformational projects that work closely with their stakeholders and business subject matter experts.
• Ensure the smooth running of agile ceremonies while balancing the governance required, removing blockers and aiding the delivery of new iterations and general service improvements, ready-ing the service to go into and launch public beta.
• Help manage the team members ensuring work is completed to the standard expected.
• Expected to be an active member of the wider UKEF Delivery Management Community, helping to embed an agile and UCD culture.
You’ll have relevant experience in:
• SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.
• Experience of working in agile and digital transformation, including leading agile ceremonies and road mapping.
• Experience delivering against government service standards.
• Service assessments – Experience leading a team through a beta assessment.
• Managing and working on large digital projects/services.
• Experience of working as Senior Delivery Manger in UK Government.
• Experience of managing and delivering complex Programmes.
• Excellent senior Stakeholder Management skills.
• Experience Service standard and how to deliver against it.
