Are you a Design Engineer / Manager from a mechanical background looking to step up into a management role for an industry leading manufacturer where you have the chance to put your own stamp on the department?
On offer is this highly autonomous role, where you will lead a small team of skilled engineers whilst being at the forefront of the development of bespoke projects for a rapidly growing organization.
The company specialize in the design and manufacture of automated systems for a variety of blue-chip clients across the UK and internationally. Due to continuous success, they are growing from strength to strength and are looking for a Design Manager to help develop the design team.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in the research and development of pioneering technology. You will be responsible for managing the Design Engineers and have the opportunity to mold the department.
The ideal candidate will have mechanical experience and knowledge of hydraulics, looking to step up into a management position for an industry leader.
The Role:

• Using SolidWorks and CAD to research and design high quality mechanical products.
• Highly autonomous
• Manage a team of 3 skilled Design Engineers.

The Person:

• Mechanical Engineering qualification
• Experienced in SolidWorks, 2D CAD.
• Knowledge of hydraulics / automation.
• Commutable to Epping.
