This is an exciting role for the right individual, you will be tasked with running multiple deign projects from start through to completion. This will be a mix of brand new projects and also reverse engineering existing designs. You'll be looking over projects from a blank sheet of paper through to production, the role will include some project management duties. A pure engineering position by this i mean not one to be stuck behind a screen 5 days a week, you'll be hands on working with various teams on site and at times will be customer facing.
In this role you'll be working with some World famous brands, the majority of which are in the Motorsport/F1 industries however, they also supply products into the Aerospace, MOD and Marine industries so as you can imagine quality is of the upmost importance. They have a specially kitted out manufacturing workshop, one that you would be proud to call work, which is conveniently located on the outskirts of Milton Keynes centre. The senior management team are a very hard working and dedicated group, so someone who shares that approach will no doubt thrive in this company.
The design team is made of 9 including this position, the team is made up of junior and Senior Designers, you also have a project manager in the team to help.
You will be educated to a degree standard and come with at least one years experience of working within mechanical design. My client uses Catia V5 so experience of this would be desirable but not an essential any CAD experience will be considered.
This is a permanent position and you will be working a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday. Salary is depending on experience but could be up to 50k per annum for the right candidate plus benefits.
