Full time, permanent, fully remote position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER with PIPE STRESS ANALYSIS experience, to work in a design and delivery role in District Heating/the renewable energy sector. Experience in District Heating is not a strict requirement, but candidates should bring their extensive knowledge of Pipe Stress software and 2D CAD skills. Knowledge of 3D CAD work is a distinct advantage.
The role will suit an experienced Mechanical Engineer with an in-depth knowledge of Pipe Stress analysis seeking to work within the consultancy environment and who would like to gain practical site experience in this environment.
The successful candidate will be offered a 3-day induction carried out in the office in Milton Keynes and thereafter, the position is based working from home.
Experience & Core Skills
- Mechanical Engineering background
- 5 years experience in Pipe Stress analysis
- Extensive Knowledge of stress analysis software - Caesar 2 but PASS-START/PROFF, sisKMR a distinct advantage
- Experience in designing pipe support and bracketry solutions
- Knowledge of design codes and standards applicable for Pipe Stress Analysis design work
- Advanced 2D AutoCAD skills
- Construction AutoCAD Experience
- Detail oriented
Remuneration & Package
- 40 hours per week, covering Monday to Friday
- 3 day induction in Milton Keynes, working from home thereafter
- Successful candidates will be provided with the necessary equipment to work from home
- GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 per annum depending on experience
