Senior Design Engineer

We are recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join one of our clients based in Milton Keynes

Scope of role:

• Design and develop new products along with reviewing legacy and existing product range
• Involvement in projects and working with the wider engineering team
• Providing technical support to Project Manager
• Adhere to quality management system
• Mentor, develop and oversee junior engineering staff

Skills and background needed:

• Previously worked with sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing techniques
• Qualified to degree level
• Competent with Inventor 3D and Autocad
• Ability to create design from customer specification to a critical standard
• Solid background within mechanical design
• Previous usage of NASTRAN and other analysis tools such as FEA, CFD
