Digital Buying & Merchandising Manager will be responsible for the strategic and operational execution of product investment for all categories, driving performance against financial targets. This is an essential role in the implementation of buying, merchandising, and planning strategies.
Your Mission:- Responsible for the global stellamccartney.com and e-concessions product assortment and buy strategy for all categories
- Manage the annual and seasonal OTB working with Demand Planning, Finance and Retail, monitoring and reviewing this in season, acting and making recommendations where necessary to achieve the sales and margin plan
- Generate weekly, monthly, and yearly selling reports and business analysis to track sales, identify key market trends, maximising opportunities, and minimising liabilities to achieve continued growth
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business & customer, identify and action opportunities to add value
- Lead end-to-end planning and forecasting for key seasonal launches i.e. Markdown, Capsule Collections and Seasonal Buys/Carryover Re-Orders
- Partner closely with Studio team to ensure that Ecom imagery captures all relevant details and highlights of the collection
- Work closely with Marketing & CID teams to brief ecommerce content, storytelling, and theme-pages through-out the year
- Partner with CRM and Trading Team on newsletter roll-out ensuring product selection reflects brand activations as well as supporting commercial needs
- Support the team with on-site visual merchandising and keep up to date with Retail merchandising plans to ensure alignment
- Close partnership and collaboration with regional Retail and Product Merchandising team to analyse seasonal performance and align strategic approaches on collection launches
- Monitor stock and sales to ensure maximum product efficiency - including mutualisation of stock between channels (Retail/Ecom)
- Compile reports and present findings to a range of stakeholders
Your Talent:- At least 3 years' experience of working in a similar role
- Women's luxury multi-category experience: bags, accessories, and footwear highly desired.
- Marketplaces experience such as Farfetch and Tmall is ideal
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen; operates with a clear command of the key financial drivers in a dynamic results-orientated environment.
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to forge solid partnerships across teams at all levels.
- Familiar operating in a global fast paced fashion/luxury branded environment
Systems and Essentials- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Power BI or similar business intelligence tool.
- Google Analytics 4
- Experience with Salesforce would be an advantage
