About The Role
As a Senior Digital Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our corporate communications strategy. You will develop and lead our emerging Digital Communications strategy in support of our business objectives, promoting the success of Motability Operations and the Motability Scheme externally to different audiences and through different channels, protecting our reputation at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic growth of our digital channels – social media and corporate website – understanding the different audiences for each and how they support our corporate communications strategy objectives.
- Develop and own corporate digital assets including films and animations, and manage external creatives.
- Establish and own digital policies and training.
- Manage and direct agency partners and collaborators, including influencers.
- Act as a business partner and advisor to the immediate team and across the organisation, providing expert Digital Communications advice and guidance.
- Support the team in working with Scheme Ambassadors to develop and deliver multi-channel strategic content.
- Support and help raise awareness of our employee networks through engaging digital content.
- Line manage the social media manager.
- Work closely with the wider communications and engagement team, as well as the brand and marketing teams, to maximise opportunities to raise awareness and manage the reputation of both Motability Operations and the Motability Scheme.
- Work with the Motability charity communications team to ensure both organisations are informed and sighted on current and upcoming projects and issues as appropriate, and to maintain a positive public profile of the Motability Scheme.
- Prepare and manage appropriate budgets.

- You are a highly organised individual and possess the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- You are focussed on attention to detail and time management.
- You are inquisitive and challenge leadership when necessary.
- Significant experience working in strategic Digital Communications.
- Demonstrable experience of creating and implementing successful Digital Communications campaigns and strategies that deliver business outcomes.
- Experience in achieving targets and results, focused on organising and bringing people and resources together to achieve objectives and deliver strategies.
- Experience of directing and managing agency support.
- A keen eye for detail and excellent copy-editing skills.
- Ability to work effectively with many different external and internal stakeholders.
- Experience of preparing and managing budgets.
