Salary: Full time starting salary is normally in the range £28,397 to £30,210, with potential progression once in post to £33,938. We have a number of exciting opportunities for experienced administrators to join our diverse and vibrant Education support teams supporting students and staff across the University. We are passionate about providing service excellence and these roles will offer you the scope to contribute by proactively identifying ways of enhancing the student experience, providing expert guidance and advice, and supporting the successful delivery of academic programmes. The wider Education Support Teams work flexibly to support one another and ensure consistent support for education delivery across the University. You will join a professional services team which is passionate about providing excellent administration support for students and staff. Duties may vary between teams, but you will have the opportunity to contribute or take a lead in all aspects of administration supporting the delivery of our teaching and research programmes for students. You will work closely with a diverse group of people including managers, academic staff, and students to deliver the annual cycle of teaching and learning related activity. Main duties Act as primary contact for academic staff involved in the Schools’/Programmes’ learning and teaching, providing expert guidance, understanding and resolving queries, and identifying when to delegate or escalate queries. Deal with higher profile contacts on own initiative. You will need level 3 qualifications, and GCSEs to a minimum of grade C in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications plus some experience in similar roles. If you have no equivalent qualifications, you will need substantial experience in similar roles. You will, however, be comfortable working in a role where you take significant responsibility and where you are expected to propose new ways of work and will have the ability to work to tight deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
