‘Ohm my goodness’ – what a role this is!

If you’re a ‘shockingly’ good Electrical Designer engineer who can ‘amp’ up the creativity and are looking for a role that'll put the ‘buzz’ back your design work then this could be just the role you’ve been looking for.

You’ll join a well-established engineering team of around 80-mixed discipline engineers and will be the go-to Electrical Design authority, tackling new and existing projects throughout their lifecycle. Mainly within (but not solely) the defence sector.  

What's on your to-do list? Conceptual Electrical Design (cable looms, wiring harnesses, general circuits, etc), prototype building, and diving into design verification testing. As the majority of the work will be contracted from the defence sector (full SC not required) you’ll really be able to utilise your previous experience in this field – specifically for the connectors etc that are specific in the area of design.

Your responsibilities go beyond design – you're the one making sure design files are up-to-date, raising red flags for technical risks, and championing adherence to standards.

When it comes to New Product Introduction (NPI), you're the one providing crucial info for pre-sales bids, collaborating with engineering and production, and making sure prototypes are top-notch.
