Summary:
My client is a prominent and esteemed construction contractor in the UK, renowned for delivering exceptional projects in the Residential sector. With a rich history of success, they are expanding their team and actively seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the complete lifecycle of frames and concrete pours, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Provide specialised technical insight into the design, analysis, and implementation of frame structures and concrete pouring techniques.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to develop detailed plans, specifications, and schedules for frame and concrete-related activities.
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality control checks at various stages of the construction process, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, offering technical support and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Work in tandem with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements relevant to frames and concrete pours.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer specialising in frames and concrete pours within the construction industry in the UK.
- In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for structural analysis and design.
- Strong project management skills, demonstrated by a history of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
