SalaryAre you a seasoned Senior Engineer/Manager with a robust background in Civil Engineering projects, particularly within the water or marine sectors?
Our client is a prominent civil engineering contractor seeking to appoint a Senior Engineer for a project based on the Isle of Islay. Due to the project's location, accommodation and ferry travel will be provided.
As the Senior Engineer/Manager, your duties will include:
- Site supervision and inductions.
- Daily briefings with operatives and subcontractors.
- Quality assurance checks/pro-forma for concrete, piling, drainage, and ducting.
- Produce and review RAMS.
- Ensuring safety targets and standards are consistently upheld.
- Implementing and monitoring works on site to ensure compliance with the Client’s specifications.
- Plant and material orders and requisitions.
- Collecting and filing all QA information in accordance with the client’s in-house systems.
- Managing documents and drawings using in-house systems.
What’s on offer:
- Immediate commencement for a 3-4 month period with potential for long-term employment.
- Monday 07:00 – 19:00.
- Working every alternate weekend.
- Saturday & Sunday – 07:00 -17:30.
- Provision of accommodation and ferry travel.
- £30 to £32 (Gross) per hour depending on experience.
- Payment methods – PAYE or CIS.
What you’ll require:
- Demonstrated experience in civil engineering projects, particularly in water or marine projects.
- Marine experience is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Full UK driving license and personal transport.
- Valid CSCS Card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification.
