We’re looking for a Senior Facilities Manager to join our team. This unique role has a compliance focus and a regional impact. You’ll be supporting a group of operational facilities managers in London and the South East, helping them to look after the special places we care for.

You’ll use your skills and expertise to provide a regional view of our compliance performance from environmental actions through to fire safety.

Interview date: 25 March 2024

What it's like to work here

You'll be working within the internal London & South East Consultancy, based at one of our regional offices, with regular visits to other National Trust sites across London and the South East. This will allow you to explore and understand the full breadth of what we look after, from country houses and gardens to landscapes and farmsteads.

There will be an opportunity to explore hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the team. We’ll also support you in continuously developing your skills with formal qualifications such as Institute of Occupational Health & Safety (IOSH) enabling you to build a rewarding career with us.

What you'll be doing

This is a new, broad and influential role that gives you significant impact and the opportunity to develop the role alongside your skills and knowledge.

We’ll train you to be an expert in our compliance systems, using insights to set our property and regional teams up for success by highlighting and reporting on risks and opportunities.

You’ll be building relationships with teams at our places, helping to maintain compliance through our systems, procedures and guidelines whilst using your regional view to share best practice.

Supporting regional specialists such as our Climate & Environment Advisors in maintaining environmental accreditation, you’ll directly impact our sustainability goals.

You’ll be responsible for identifying trends, risks, and opportunities with recommendations for making improvements at a regional scale by telling the story behind the data to help inform regional decision making.
