A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE SENIOR FINANCE ASSISTANT AT THE IMPERIAL HOTEL BLACKPOOL

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Hotel General Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, you can expect your working shift to include the following:

  • Assisting in the recording of hotel income, including cash credit card reconciliations.
  • Ensuring all invoices are accurately processed, approved, coded and posted.
  • Ensuring suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed terms.
  • Supporting the hotel and wider group finance team in the month end reconciliation process.
  • Liasing with the wider group finance team in dealing with audit queries.

To succeed in the role of Senior Finance Assistant, you will need the following qualities and skills:

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Purchase Ledger experience preferred but not essential.
