Elite personnel are recruiting on behalf of our global client who are seeking a highly motivated Senior Finance Coordinator to join them in Sutton Coldfield.
Responsibilities
- You will be working within the banking team dealing with numerous bank accounting in the UK and ROI and you will need to understand banking , reconciliation for both banks’ accounts and credit cards.
- Conduct transactional accounting and financial reporting duties for company-owned franchises
- Prepare, record, analyse, and report daily banking data for timely and accurate sales receipt.
- Perform general accounting activities, including ledger maintenance, reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
- Manage customer support, including exception handling and resolution of resulting queries.
- Oversee accounting accruals/projections, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Build relationships with franchise stores, operations, third-party suppliers, and colleagues for efficient query resolutions.
- Review business processes, recommend improvements for efficiency, and ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Utilise automation solutions, advanced Excel functionality, system tools, and macros to streamline processes.
- Create technical solutions improving efficiency and effectiveness of GBS Finance procedures.
- Document and update SOPs, prepare training materials, and other relevant documents.
- Deliver proactive and high-standard customer service to internal and external customers.
- Contribute to achieving the overall department’s goals by meeting SLAs.
- Provide clear guidance on compliance to procedures and processes.
- Demonstrate strong business partnership and engage key stakeholders in initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Deliver quality training for new and existing colleagues.
- Share input and feedback to enhance and evolve work processes.
- Maintain and update procedures and documentation for training needs.
- Use Continuous Improvement methods to determine value-add solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of Finance & Accounting, including balance sheet reconciliations,
- accruals, prepayments, and journal posting.
- Advanced Excel
- skills: Pivot Tables & V-Lockup's.
- You will need to have good communication skills, ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences professionally.
