Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and analyses, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate closely with senior management, department heads, and cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance, insights, and support decision-making processes.
- Assess financial performance against key business metrics, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Offer strategic financial advice, identifying areas for growth, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency enhancements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing robust internal controls.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis, to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified accountant.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior Business Partnering role within a complex organisation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders and conveying financial concepts clearly.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools; advanced knowledge of ERP systems and Excel is a plus.
