Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and analyses, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management, department heads, and cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance, insights, and support decision-making processes.
  • Assess financial performance against key business metrics, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Offer strategic financial advice, identifying areas for growth, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency enhancements.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing robust internal controls.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis, to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior Business Partnering role within a complex organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders and conveying financial concepts clearly.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools; advanced knowledge of ERP systems and Excel is a plus.
