SalaryA fantastic remote role has arisen for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a great company with regular travel to two sites across Milton Keynes and Northampton. This outstanding opportunity offers excellent hybrid working options and significant exposure to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of three
- Develop a commercial partner relationship with senior operational management, providing key metrics and analysis as a foundation for sound commercial decision making
- Improve staff awareness at all levels of finance and cost / revenue benefits as a key factor in all business decisions
- Prepare accurate business unit reports in line with the company’s timetable including full profit & loss account with analysis and commentary, balance sheet and cash flow, extracts, reconciliations and detailed project profitability reporting
- Recommend and prepare financial business cases for investment, capital expenditure and change programmes resulting in cash flow and profit improvement
- Improve business processes and systems
- Proactively seek and recommend profit improvement suggestions for the region in conjunction with the Business Director
- Develop a range of key performance indicators for use throughout the organisation and identify areas for potential improvements
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Strong commercial and operational financial management experience from Logistics or Manufacturing sectors
- Strong system skills including advanced Excel and some Power BI
