Description
- Managing whole capital programme
- Year end accounting for capital programme and funding of the programme
- Development of ERPG Capital forecast tool and rolling out system to budget managers
- Providing support to key capital projects
- Member of the strategic FBP's management team
- Completion of statutory returns
- Monitoring of capital income streams
- Supporting consolidation of capital balances and processes inherited from legacy councils
Profile
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
- Must be a fully Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience
- Previous experience as Finance Business Partner
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of public sector financial regulations and standards.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work and driving business strategy.
Job Offer
- Umbrella Day rate between £400 - £500 a day dependent on experience
- Remote role but must be able to travel to site on an occasional basis
