Core Responsibilities
- Active member of the Retail Development Leadership Team
- Drive the long-term channel development, including preparing business cases for new stores
- Partner on real estate management and strategy, including store lease renewals
- Work on key strategic projects (Retail Platform, Contract re-negotiations…)
- Measure the effectiveness and ROI on store investments such as store maintenance & store fit-out
- Ensure the right financial guardrails and governance is in place for store investment decisions
- Provide financial support on store optimisation initiatives – including prioritisation of the right activities, measurement, and benefits tracking
- Provide day to day support to two Finance Managers

LEGO Retail plays an integral part on delivering our reach to children while also supporting our premium/quality positioning as a brand. The LEGO Retail Finance team consists of ~16 colleagues based across Europe, the US and Asia. The role holder will report into the Stores Finance Director (who reports to the Head of LEGO Retail Finance Senior Director)
Do you have what it takes?
- Able to demonstrate financial capability/ management accounting proficiency
- Experience working within the finance area in a global organisation. This includes experience within commercial finance and Business Partnering
- Strong communication, collaboration, networking, and leadership skills are a requisite to ensure alignment and challenge business areas
- Finance retail real estate experience including new store business cases, lease negotiations, etc would be highly advantageous
- Comfortable challenging and influencing senior key partners
- Analytical with a strong end to end business understanding, proactively looking for opportunities to contribute to the business
- Passionate about unlocking insights through data
- Proficient in Excel; SAP would be beneficial
