Senior Finance Business Partner

Marks Sattin are delighted to be recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner for a highly regarded blue chip organisation based near Selby.

Responsibilities will include:

• Take the lead on providing high quality, insightful analysis and financial support to the Business Leadership globally
• Supporting the Business Finance Director in providing financial analysis and insight to the Business management team and working closely with all functions
• Deputising for the Business Finance Director as and when required and will be required to prepare global Business management reports for presentation
• The role will be a key member of the business leadership team providing both strategic and operational financial support to the Global business MD and their management team
• Supporting the strategic development of the business (e.g preparation of 5 year strategic plans) alongside preparation of regular finance reports, capital business plans, managing cost programmes and expected to provide insightful presentations to help support/drive decision making
• Providing support to regional commercial and finance teams on an adhoc basis may be required
• Primarily responsible for the coordination of global business forecasting (quarterly) and budgeting (annual), responsible for collating regional views, understanding major movements and advising/challenging global sector/business/regional management on consolidated views for example identifying downside risks or upside opportunities for the business or sub-business units
• This role is expected to be a leader and innovator in developing new ways of presenting information and new insight into historic financial performance and indicators of future performance

This opportunity is ideally suited to a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) candidate with extensive commercial experience. Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to advise, challenge and influence.
