Senior Finance Director

Senior Finance Director | £90-95k | 15-month Fixed Term Contract

Recruiting for a Senior Finance Director to join a exciting and industry leading organisation on a 15-month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Finance professional who is immediately available to start their next role.

The Role:

• Oversee a team who are responsible for all reporting processes, including general accounting, financial reporting, fixed assets, inventory accounting, treasury and fixed assets.
• Responsible for managing a team of over 20 individuals. Experience managing large teams and proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members is essential.
• Review accounting processes and suggest improvements.
• Ensure period end closures are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain and build relationships with regional CFOs across EMEA.
• Ensure audit controls are followed.
• Set transfer pricing policies.
• Manage indirect tax, ensuring the timely completion of returns.
• Oversee local treasury requirements.
• Partner with the corporate finance team and be a point of contact for all queries.

You will regularly interact with senior management, meaning that stakeholder management skills and an affable personality are a must. This role requires a strong performer and somebody with the ambition and intellect to apply their own insights were possible and suggest improvements to existing processes.

Your Background

You are an ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualified experience in a Senior Manager/ Financial Controller role. Ideally, you are are audit trained with 5+ years in a comparable role in a media, entertainment, or fast paced/ dynamic environment.

Location

Central London with hybrid working from home.
