Senior Financial Accountant

Are you a Financial Accountant looking for a heavily home based role? Maybe you're looking for your first move from practice into industry? If you're a good Financial Accountant and can get to the Gloucester area once a week then we have a great role for you. Working for a growing business who operate in a sector that enhances peoples lives this role will work closely with the financial controller ensuring the accurately reported position of the company financials is managed and communicated throughout the business. Day to day you'll be responsible for the following:
• Examining and analysing financial information.
• Assisting in the preparation of the statutory accounts.
• Liaising with the Financial Controller with tax advisors and external auditors.
• Responsibility for fixed assets.
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain and improve the newly implemented finance system (Unit 4/Agresso).
• Help with implementing stronger controls and processes.
• Prepare VAT returns.
• Ensure the business follows all required legislation.
