Senior Financial Accountant

Key Duties:

• Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements for multiple European entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Oversee the completion of statutory reporting, including consolidation & coordination with external auditors to facilitate smooth audits.
• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Lead the preparation and filing of tax and VAT returns for European jurisdictions, staying abreast of regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Continuously assess and improve financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Qualified or QBE will be considered with the relevant German language skills & background 
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP for European jurisdictions.
• Proven experience in managing tax and VAT compliance for multinational entities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
