How you'll play your part
We're looking for someone highly motivated and adaptable who understands the philosophy of continuous process improvement and ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with previous financial accounting experience. You'll thrive in fast paced and customer focused environment where you will be providing support to the financial reporting process and other Group Accounting activities.
You'll apply your problem solving and excel abilities to effectively analyse large amounts of data whilst preparing the annual UK financial statements for MBUK and support where necessary with our other small entities. You'll have a keen eye for detail ensuring a high level of accuracy when supporting the completion of the monthly group financial reporting process under IFRS to Mercedes-Benz AG, including group adjustments and completeness of disclosure.
We're passionate about providing great communication, and you'll be able to apply your great team working abilities to build effective working relationships with accounting and non-accounting colleagues, collaborating and contributing to the wider finance department successes. These same skills will be put to great use as a key contact in the external audit process, working with our auditors to cover both MBUK's contribution to the group results and its own financial statements.
