Senior Financial Accountant

Temporary until end of July 2024

£30 per hour  

Monday to Friday – 37 hours per week

Huntingdon & Homeworking – 2/3 days in the office per week

Our client is looking for someone to join their fast-paced team as a Senior Financial Accountant on a temporary basis.

What you will be doing:  

This role is integral to ensuring our clients financial reporting is compliant with accounting standards and legal requirements. Your primary focus will be producing statutory reports and ensuring their control environment remains first class.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• An accountancy qualification, ideally with a minimum of 1 year post qualification experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar)
• Experience of financial controls
• Exposure to accounting for financial derivatives
• Have ideally worked in a large complex organisation
• Strong technical and accounting skills 
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written 
• Excellent analytical and interpretation skills 
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and within a team environment 
• Strong spreadsheet and relevant computer skills.
