Senior Financial Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions are currently supporting a rapidly growing organisation based in Haywards Heath with the recruitment of a Senior Accountant on a permanent basis. Due to continued growth this is a brand new role to the business and you will have responsibility for all the financial reporting / statutory accounting for the organisation. Key responsibilities will include: Responsibility for all financial reporting / statutory accounting and managing all month end close processes. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Work with external auditors Provide input when required for business planning and forecasting Key skills / experience required: Ideally a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Strong technical background (IFRS / FRS / UK or USGAAP all considered) Candidates can come from industry or those looking to make the first move from practice. Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with different stakeholders from across the business. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn. This is a fantastic role for someone either in industry already or for someone looking to make that first step out of practice. The role does offer flexibility and would require 2 days a week in the Haywards Heath office. The salary is up to £58k plus bonus
