SalaryLHH Recruitment Solutions are currently supporting a rapidly growing organisation based in Haywards Heath with the recruitment of a Senior Accountant on a permanent basis. Due to continued growth this is a brand new role to the business and you will have responsibility for all the financial reporting / statutory accounting for the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for all financial reporting / statutory accounting and managing all month end close processes.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Work with external auditors
- Provide input when required for business planning and forecasting
Key skills / experience required:
- Ideally a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong technical background (IFRS / FRS / UK or USGAAP all considered)
- Candidates can come from industry or those looking to make the first move from practice.
- Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with different stakeholders from across the business.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
This is a fantastic role for someone either in industry already or for someone looking to make that first step out of practice. The role does offer flexibility and would require 2 days a week in the Haywards Heath office.
The salary is up to £58k plus bonus
