Job Description
Senior, Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
City of London
- Conducting in-depth financial analysis to drive business strategy.
- Preparing and presenting strategic financial plans.
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand financial needs and objectives.
- Identifying financial risks and opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts.
- Collaborating with other finance teams to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Supporting the finance team in ad hoc projects as required (whilst managing 2-3 directs).
The Successful Applicant
Senior, Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
City of LondonA successful Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the industry, or banking, or big 4 consulting/management consulting house. You don't have to come from insurance necessarily.
- DREAM but non-essential --> possess exposure to Syndicate product.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data - likely to come from a tier 1 or large listed company to be used to similar high volumes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of financial systems and processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
