All about the role:
The Senior FP&A Analyst will be one of three analysts who report into the Head of FP&A, focusing primarily on short term planning and forecasting, and analysis of monthly performance.
They will play a vital role in providing analysis to the CFO and Managing Board in order to support decision making.
With an exceptional eye for detail, you’ll deliver accurate and precise insight. You’ll be a driver and owner of mid-size and large projects, and work effectively within a fun and enthusiastic team. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator who builds strong relationships and delivers pragmatic solutions.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
- Review Performance – Own the preparation several of the key presentations to the Management Board, with reports covering Monthly performance, Budget and Forecast, and other ad hoc analysis.
- Understand The Market - Gain a deep insight into the world of ecommerce and food delivery, using this insight to enrich commentary and clearly articulate our commercial and financial position.
- Deliver Insight - Deliver ad hoc analysis to show trends, risk and opportunities and give valuable insight for the Management Board and the wider Business.
- Work Across Teams - Build relationships across the globe, within all areas of finance and within other functions.
- Drive Optimisations - Be proactive in the ongoing improvement of our systems, processes and deliverables.
What will you bring to the table?
- At least 2 years of experience in FP&A or similar commercial finance function
- Professional Finance qualification with 3 years post-qualified experience
- Track record of excellent attention to detail.
- Very comfortable working with Excel and PowerPoint presentations.
- Experience with interrogating financial systems and producing reports for senior leadership.
- A hands-on mentality, problem-solving skills and the ability to question critically.
- Ability to challenge existing processes and ways of working; seeking to improve the status quo.
- Proactive and able to work independently. Able to work at a high pace and be unfazed by change.
- Highly organised and able to balance competing priorities.
- Experience working with Anaplan, OneStream, Thinkcell and Tableau will be an advantage.
