At Zellis we're leaders in HR & Payroll. One of the reasons we lead is because we leverage our own in-house low-code technology product to build our product offerings. We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join the engineering team who develop our low-code framework.
You’ll be 100% hands on and get involved in design, development, and maintenance activities in an agile environment underpinned by Azure DevOps. Your focus will be the Web / Java elements of the framework encompassing SOAP and REST engines, browser user interface delivery and tooling used to build applications for the framework.
We're a fully remote based team working from home, so you need to be a great communicator not only verbally but also in writing. We do get together from time to time in one of our UK offices.

• Designing and developing new product functionality.
• Contributing to the technology product roadmap / back log.
• Maintenance of production product releases.
• Mentoring colleagues whilst promoting best practice.
• Inspiring our QA engineers to facilitate and produce automatic regression tests for new functionality.
• Being an active participant in all agile ceremonies.

Our Languages: Java 17, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Our Stack: Non-Spring Java Web Application / Development Tools.
Our Tooling: InteliJ IDEA, Eclipse, VSCode underpinned with Azure DevOps.
Our Platforms: Linux, Windows, AIX.

Skills & experience

We'd love it if you have:

• Experience in software design and build of Full-Stack Java Web applications.
• Worked within an Agile continuous integration environment.
• Deep knowledge of Servlet containers and Java Web application deployment without Spring.
• Strong JavaScript experience using React.
• Knowledge of VSCode plugin development and / or language servers.
• Examples of where you’ve built and released pipeline development using Azure DevOps.
