We are currently seeking an interim Senior Global Communications Manager, to work with our global FMCG client, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based at Blackfriars on London's Victoria Embankment, just a short walk from Blackfriars tube. This is a full-time temporary role for 12 months requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £80,000 per annum, depending upon experience.
Unfortunately due to the urgent nature of this role we are unable to consider those with notice period longer than 1 month.

Main purpose of the role
This role sits within the Global People Communications team and reports to the head of that team.
- Develop effective communication strategies and plans for priority global HR programs that contribute to employee belonging and help drive employee engagement - these might include but are not limited to learning, reward, employee data & analytics, performance, ways of working, talent & employer brand, holistic wellbeing
- Develop effective communication strategies and plans for priority Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) key moments and themes
- Set out clear plans and measurable outcomes for each communication initiative we undertake and follow up to ensure we capture and report our achievements
- Lead for best practice, measurable employee communications approaches and be a pioneer for new methods and channels
- Develop excellent written materials end to end to ensure all campaign activations are of a high quality from briefing to execution
- Set the expectations of stakeholders in a realistic, professional, and effective manner, paying close attention to the overall people communications plan and our operating principles
- Operate in a cross-functional manner to ensure that communications are integrated, coordinated and managed across the business
- Work effectively as an integral cog in a very closeknit team, sharing ownership of key projects with colleagues to ensure seamless delivering whilst broadening skills and experience
- Be an exemplar of best practices for colleagues across our Comms and Corporate Affairs global community
- Collaborate effectively and productively with colleagues from across the business
Profile and Skills
- An experienced communications senior manager/head of function/senior business partner with demonstrable relevant experience in the employee communications and engagement space.
- Experience working in large, fast paced, matrix organisations.
- Someone passionate about the people agenda, culture and change in business.
- A purpose-led individual who can demonstrate cultural acuity and personal resilience
- Experience of both internal and external communications.
- Strong writing, editorial and storytelling skills including speech and brief writing.
- Confident and experienced in end-to-end communications planning and project management.
- Ability to successfully manage global/local complexity.
- Proven project and agency management skills - strong attention to detail and a track. record of delivering plans with measurable results.
- The people skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A team player who has a growth mindset, a spirit of service and a healthy dissatisfaction with the status quo.
