SalaryA local authority in North London is seeking a Senior Housing Disrepair Lawyer for an initial period of three months.
The council has recently set up a designated Housing Disrepair Team and they are seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Lawyer who will manage the team consisting of 3 legal officers.
Your caseload will involve handling a Housing Disrepair cases at all stages of pre-litigation/litigation. You will also ned to advise on the management of risk on complex issues, represent the council in court and where appropriate conduct advocacy. You must be a Housing Disrepair expert.
Previous local government experience is desirable but not essential. You must be a qualified solicitor, barrister or fellow of ILEX. A current PC is required for this role.
Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are seeking candidates available on no more than two weeks’ notice.
