Senior Housing Manager

We are proud to be working alongside Ashford Borough Council in sourcing a temporary Senior Housing Manager.

This is a temporary role for 3-months working full-time Monday to Friday with a minimum of 3 days per week in the Ashford office.

You will be required to lead a large team of technical and professional staff that has responsibility for the delivery of a number of housing services in an effective and efficient way. Ensuring that the customer needs are identified and responded to appropriately, and that the requirements of statutory duties are fulfilled.

The role will have a concentration on supporting with the operational side of things, trouble shooting and ensuring the service is progressing steadily forwards. Along with contributing to the Housing Service team by providing advise and guidance and ensuring the team are kept abreast of, assessing and analysing the aims and objectives of the council.

You will need:

* To be degree educated, ideally in housing and have expansive demonstrable experience in housing.

* Strong operational trouble shooting skills

* Experience of leading a large Housing service/department

This role requires an immediate start.
