Senior Housing Options Officer – Hampshire – 6 months – Hybrid

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Demonstrate a confident working knowledge of Part 7 and Part 6 of the Housing Act 1996.
• Assess and case work homeless applications made to the council, ensuring compliance with homelessness legislation, specifically the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 (HRA).
• Experience of conducting an accurate S184 investigation and decision.

You must have experience or knowledge in:

• Demonstrated understanding of homelessness legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and relevant sections of the Housing Act 1996.
• Confident working knowledge of Part 7 and Part 6 of the Housing Act 1996.
• You must have an enhanced DBS
