Role: Senior HR Advisor

Duration: Temporary - 3 months
Location: London, W8 7NX
Salary: Up to £285 UMB Per day
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our client in London on a 3 month contract with a possible extension, working on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days a week onsite.
The ideal Senior HR Advisor will develop and maintain people policies and procedures which provide general and practical advice and guidance for managers and staff on a range of employment issues.
The duties of the Employee Relations Advisor include:
Ensure policies and procedures support the organisation's people plan and foster a culture transparency, fairness, and inclusion
Undertake scheduled reviews of people policies and procedures to ensure they remain fit for purpose and reflet latest developments in effective people management
Lead on the development and maintenance of HR Polices and Procedures
Work with the strategic lead for employee relations to ensure that the organisation's HR policy framework reflects the needs of the organisation and its workforce
Take evidence-based approach to HR policy development which combines behavioural science and academic research, organisational data, stakeholder concerns and practitioner expertise
Ensure that HR policies and procedures are clear, well researched and are developed from the perspective of managers and staff
Ensure that training and development is in place to support the implementations of policies
Ensure that the A to Z of HR policy webpages on the organisation's staff portal are up to date
Develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
The Senior HR Advisor will ideally have:
Experience within the public sector
CIPD Qualified (Level 7) or equivalent HR experience
Experience of HR Policy and Governance
Knowledge of employment law
Experience of provide ER advice and guidance to managers
Experience of leading the development and implementation of people policies and procedures
The Senior HR Advisor will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
