Senior HR Business Partner - Change - 23 month Fixed Term Contract

Job description
Use all your change building skills to support our global mission
When you join us in this important role, you'll use your expert knowledge of employee relations and legal compliance as you work to ensure everyone who works here is supported, respected and treated as individuals with a voice. Taking the lead on all the people and employee relationship aspects of change, you'll work with a number of stakeholders across the business as you scope, plan and implement a wide variety of activities. With this in mind, you'll establish the high quality processes and methodologies we'll need to transform our approach to people-based change.
You'll have an enormous range of additional tasks, from providing positive and encouraging support as people go through periods of change, to ensuring that successful project and change management techniques are applied, risks are managed constructively, and continuous improvement is embedded in everything we do. We'll also expect you to provide professional insights and analysis to Business Partners and other HR teams, lead on developing effective relationships with Trades Unions, and assist with the development of training material that supports new ways of working.
Help to implement HR policies that protect the UK's interests around the world
As an HR professional with CIPD accreditation, you'll have superb project management skills and a well developed understanding of how to lead the people aspects of complex change initiatives. You should have a background in employee relations with plenty of operational HR practical experience, and in addition to being capable of leading consultations and negotiations with Trades Unions, you should also have expert knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
An inspirational leader and networker with the ability to influence and challenge at both junior and senior levels, you'll have the skills to use data and evidence as you make , effective decisions. A Level 7 CIPD qualification or its equivalent would be desirable, as would an understanding of Civil Service protocols, HR policies and controls, and any experience of working in a commercial environment would be an advantage.

Person specification
KNOWLEDGE & KEY SKILLS
Essential:
HR Professional, CIPD accreditation
Excellent project management skills with experience of leading people aspects of complex change initiatives
Employee Relations background, with experience of leading on Trades Unions consultation
Operational HR experience in a relevant environment;
Expert knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
Excellent leadership and networking skills, able to influence and challenge at junior and senior levels
Able to demonstrate how to use data and evidence to make decisions.
Desirable:
Level 7 CIPD qualification or equivalent;
Understanding of civil service HR policies and controls;
Experience of change in a civil service environment, including understanding of Civil Service protocols
Experience in a commercial environment;
Knowledge of change management frameworks in a commercial context
