A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated HR professional to join a busy, friendly, supportive, HR team. You will proactively assist with providing an effective HR officer and administration service as well as providing support for high volume recruitment. This is a pivotal role and is the glue that holds all of our HR operations together. So you will need substantial experience in a wide area of HR responsibilities i.e. overseeing day to day operational activities, supporting in employee relations matters such as letter writing, running reports, inputting records onto the HR system, support the HR management with areas such as their wellbeing strategy, research and benchmarking data, first line advice and guidance to staff and managers on policies, procedures and general queries, deliver the HR induction and processing of leavers.
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you’ll also provide proactive recruitment administration support, managing applications on the Recruitment system, shortlisting candidates, arranging and attending some interviews, writing and issuing conditional offers and employment contracts, undertaking right to work and compliance checks.
You will hold, or be working towards a level 3 CIPD status, and either be educated to ‘A’ level or possess equivalent working experience. They work within a fast paced, demanding environment and this role requires someone who can juggle several tasks at the same time, ability to stay calm, be autonomous and work with initiative. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, work to a high level of accuracy and be a team player.
This is a hybrid role. Their modern office is based in Birmingham, and you will need to be flexible on the days you attend per week.
