Up to £65,000 DOE + Discretionary bonus

Hybrid - London, Birmingham or Edinburgh based

Our client, a well-known organisation in the savings and retirement industry, is searching for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team. The Senior Internal Auditor role is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the client's business and protect its customers, shareholders, and colleagues.

The Role

As a Senior Internal Auditor, you'll play a vital role in assessing and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance, and improving operational efficiency. You'll work closely with your team to develop and execute audit strategies, identify and evaluate risks, and make recommendations to improve controls.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of risks and controls, as well as excellent planning, coordination, and organisation skills. You should also be confident in stakeholder management and have strong communication and analytical skills.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Assessing the risk landscape and developing audit strategies
• Executing end-to-end audits of Asset Management
• Helping to form macro-opinions and keep the audit universe relevant
• Developing audit topics for the annual plan and driving functional initiatives forward
• Building relationships with stakeholders and colleagues

Essential Skills

• Would be beneficial to have previous Trading or Front Office experience or has audited Trading Assets.
• A strong understanding of risks and controls
• Previous experience in auditing, trading and Asset Management functions
• Excellent planning, coordination, and organisation skills
• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in internal audit, external audit, risk assurance, or controls assurance
